I did not blast everyone else's picks, what I pointed out were the examples put forth did not necessarily lend themselves to showcasing his true skills on the piano, that they were simple blues or country songs.I then went on to cite the songs that I thought did show his ability.I pointed out the Brent and Bruce mentions as laughable because they are.I suggested 5 songs,I didn't mention specific versions because that is subjective and wasn't the point I was getting at.Off the top of my head I think Keith's playing on the jam into Morning Dew on 5/26/72 is understated and beautiful. What exactly was your contribution to this thread other misunderstanding mine.I simply stated my opinion on the subject and as to what you think of said opinion is of no importance to me.

".What about Keith's many brilliant improvisational turns on Dark Star,PITB,Other One,Eyes and Bird Song"

I stand corrected sir, it was an unfortunate oversight on my partand I extend my apology. I should read closer and not go off half-cocked.

And I'm sure my mention of Tom C. means as much to you as you imagine your opinion means to me. When, in fact, I relish the knowledge I am able to glean from this site. I have gained much knowledge here, from many different posters and do appreciate every one.
